Canon SD550

This is my current camera. Konica Minolta Dimage X1. By far, I love this camera. However, Neil needs one and we found a pretty good one from Costco. Since KM is no longer in business and recently purchased by Sony, I need to get another battery backup. If anyone of you are in the market for a new digital camera, I'd suggest this one. It's easy to use. Has a large view screen, and includes a nice dust cover. Why doesn't all cameras come with a dust cover???




This is our new digital camera from Costco. Not a bad price @ $299.
It got a lot of features including stitching, audio recording, and digital imaging capability (eg. taking a picture of a blue car and changing the color to red).

Off to Vegas

So we're heading off to Vegas tomorrow. Met up with Danny, Ivy, and Lily for dinner @ Eques and dessert @ Daniel's.

Saw Little Miss Sunshine. And yet again, I enjoyed the quirkiness of the entire dysfunctional family but Neil was dozing off. I felt every character was very well developed and the acting was superb. Steve Carell by far outshines the rest of the cast. Toni Collette is wonderful as the mom and there were 2 scenes that were brilliant. Go see it!

Koots

Located across US Bank from Lincoln Tower in Bellevue, this tea house isn't really in prime location. It's behind the elevator and it really should have been across Tully's. I did enjoy my mango pearl shake. The ones I get in Chinatown has a much smoother consistency and no ice chucks. I hate ice chunks! Anyway, Neil had a Gemaichi ice tea and he didn't like it.

We had BBQ last night @ Danny & Ivy's. Good beef, fresh salad, purple yam, and mango cake. But what I enjoyed most was the soup. I miss homemade soup.

My Tumi collection

I love my messenger bag. Tumi always has compartments after compartments to sort everything properly. The carry-on luggage is also very roomy and the shape is cool. The dobb kit is very large but I prefer one that has more compartments but this will do. Now where to go...

Snakes

We saw Snakes last night. Neil fell asleep and thought it was stupid. I enjoyed it thoroughy. The beginning was retarded but once they were in the air and the snakes were out, it was like being on a roller coaster ride.

However, this was a flight originating from HNL and there were not a lot of Pacific Islanders depicted in the movie. Let's see, the bad guy is buff and does martial arts. The other token asian is also buff and does kick boxing. The fat asian women dresses in a frumpy dumpy muu muu. Who the hell still wears a muu muu in Hawaii? The rest of the cast was as white as can be with the exception of SLJ!

With that said, the silliness of the movie and the action was FUN and worth a matinee.

This is currently my favorite candle. D.L. & Co. If you happen to run across it, get it. This scent is Pink Pepper but the best is Angel's Trumpet. Angel's Trumpet are those big white fragrant flowers that only bloom at night.

I thought Max would appreciate a day without the collar. But of course, once it came off, he went crazy and started to pick his feathers and bite. So it went back on.
